Hey, I'm Giorgi. I'm learning to build with data and AI

I'm a mechanical and aerospace engineering student at Case Western Reserve University, and lately I've been going deep on data and AI. I like taking an idea and turning it into something real, then figuring out how it works all the way down, whether that's a web app, a machine learning pipeline, or a piece of hardware. Mostly I'm just curious and always learning something new.

oushi, a personal AI assistant that reaches out to you

A personal AI assistant built over Gmail and Google Calendar. It reads and triages email in real time through Gmail's Pub/Sub push notifications, understands sender and thread context, and proactively reaches out instead of waiting to be asked. Full auth, push notifications, and a clean daily-brief interface. Built and deployed end to end.

YQuantum 2026, quantum portfolio optimization on QuEra's stack

Built for the Capgemini x The Hartford hackathon. Reduces a real investment dataset to an 8-qubit portfolio problem, computes the exact classical optimum as ground truth, then trains QAOA on QuEra's Bloqade stack to recover it, with penalty calibration that provably preserves the hard-budget solution. Reached ~10.5% probability mass on the exact optimum at p=3.

Optical inspection stage, a 2-axis gantry with CV defect detection

A self-directed project merging hardware and software: a 2-axis precision gantry paired with a YOLO-based computer-vision pipeline that detects and localizes defects, then generates structured inspection reports. Designed around real semiconductor-inspection workflows.
